#1 nortain Aug 11, 2008 23:17:58	I was reviewing the stats of a wrath for 4th edition and noticed that it's attack weakens (saves end) the target but the wrath itself is also insubstantial. Both of these effects cause 1/2 damage. My question is since there are identical effects does only the stronger of the 2 get applied? I.E. player only does half damage or since they are coming from two different sources (one a condition of the player and one from the monster) would that mean that the player does 1/4 damage? Personally I think they wouldn't stack but it seems odd that a monster would have a redundant effect like that.

You deal half as much damage, and then the wraith takes only half as much damage as you dealt, resulting in you dealing only a quarter of your normal damage to the wraith.
