| #1KM.549Mar 02, 2009 20:03:12 | I just went to the main DnD page and it says this on the whats new section under excerpts: Excerpts: Zealous Assassin 03/02/2009 - Excerpts In today’s Player's Handbook 2 preview, we introduce a new paragon path for the barbarian: the frenzied berserker! You click on it and it take you to the Zealous Assassin link. But anyone else think they could have done just a little more proof reading before they posted that? ![]() ![]() ![]() No wonder the tools for DDi are so far behind. If this is the quaility we have.... Last week they post a year old story, they said it was a error in the code but the way the story was posted really makes you wonder. Now they post a totally different tagline for this excerpt. You pay peanuts, you get monkeys. |
| #2arlenMar 02, 2009 23:03:46 | Sounds like a Freudian slip or another glitch to me. That's the exact text used for the Frenzied Bezerker excerpt done a week ago, located here: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/4ex/20090223 |

| #4KM.549Mar 03, 2009 4:39:37 | Typos are serious business. I know it is just a little error. But I keep seeing alot of these little errors popping up. Shows sloppy work overall from the web guys at WOTC. Plus it was copyed and pasted here: http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=1156542 Not even noticed and corrected in that thread. Come on guys, I know you can do better. |
| #5kyros_tachyusMar 03, 2009 8:59:18 | It hasn't bothered me so far until you mentioned the increasing frequency of these little errors. |
| #6VerysArkonMar 03, 2009 17:17:23 | Is the error in your thread title supposed to be ironic? ;) |
| #7KM.549Mar 03, 2009 17:26:23 | Is the error in your thread title supposed to be ironic? Thats a mis type. I wish these fourms allowed you to edit thread titles like some others do. I'm surpised no one from WOTC has chimed in about this, not even a quick 'sorry we screwed up" post or anything. The line is still foulded up and I know WOTC has been open for awhile. |
| #8celloshaneMar 03, 2009 18:07:09 | Plus it was copyed and pasted here: http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=1156542 You can't blame AsmodeusLore for that though, because he copies directly off the website. It's not within his responsibilities/ability to make corrections, so if it's incorrect on the website it's incorrect in the forum news post. FYI, you should be able to edit the title if you edit your original post. |
| #9WotC_TrevorMar 03, 2009 18:08:33 | Ask and you shall recieve. I've already pinged the people who could fix it but haven't gotten any word back yet. I'm going to try and swing down and talk with them in a moment and hopefully I'll have an update for you soon. |
| #10KM.549Mar 03, 2009 18:27:06 | Thanks Trevor. Funny. I was able to edit the title when I responded now. But why I hit Edit on my orginal post, does not give me the option to edit the title there. |
| #11WotC_TrevorMar 03, 2009 18:44:37 | Done and done. The change has been made, though it won't show up until the front page refreshes, which will be some time in the next hour. Sorry this didn't get fixed earlier - the guy I normally talk to about things like this was out and I didn't realize it until I went down to talk him earlier. |
| #12asmodeusloreMar 03, 2009 23:51:37 | You can't blame AsmodeusLore for that though, because he copies directly off the website. It's not within his responsibilities/ability to make corrections, so if it's incorrect on the website it's incorrect in the forum news post. Btw, You can blame me for the post I made. When I notice an error in the RSS feed, I usually place an Asterik, with a note at the bottom indicating that its likely an error. I missed that the text I was Copy/Pasting was not matching up with the titles of the articles. Its fixed now though. |
| #13seTinyMar 04, 2009 12:45:27 | Thanks Trevor. If you hit edit in the original post, then hit "Go Advanced" you can change the titles of threads that you created. There use to be a 7 day title change cut-off. After 7 days it couldn't be changed again. I don't know if that is still in active. |
