#1 lizardmage Nov 15, 2009 9:02:18	So, after perusing the Draconomicon 2 especially over the Draconions and Bahamut, I see a nice niche for articles within Dragon/Dungeon. 1st.  As the old man with the canaries form has been stated up perhaps an article that stats up the Dark Seductress form for Tiamat, I am pretty sure it's only a Dragonlance form but it would be nice to have a humanoid form to torment my players with. 2nd.  While the newest draconions are interesting and play off the incorporation of the newest metallics I still feel that it would have been better if instead the book had just stated out the Noble Draconions (Chromatic versions for those that don't follow Dragonlance).  Perhaps the Nobles can receive a write up themselves. 3rd.  An article on the elemental diffusions that dragons can go through after their death.  This one area can encompass traps, the creation of fantastic terrain, and how to handle the monetary concerns should a pc discover a gold vein left after a gold dragon diffuses into the environment.  (The draco2 is severally lacking with elemental diffusions). These are just my thoughts on a couple of things that could be addressed in future articles.  Anyone else got ideas?  (NOTE:  Please do not confuse this thread with me complaining about the book, I thoroughly enjoy it and think it is a nice addition if you enjoy the draconic side of the D&D house.  If you saw this thread in the articles section I just deleted it and reposted after feeling I put it in the wrong spot.)

Elemental diffusion in particular I'd like to see handled.  I'm running a heavily draconic campaign, and I really want to have some dragons lairing in some ancestor's Elemental Diffusion, something I can do for the chromatics, but not the Metallics.  Also, I'd like to see some of the optional rules like Draconomicon 1 had.  Also, it might be a bit odd for an article, as it's mostly fluff, but I sorely missed the life cycle information Draconomicon 1 had for the chromatics.  While I like that we got full and half-again as many Metallics as Chromatics, I would have gladly sacrificed one or two of the Metallic breeds for a more detailed 'Metallics in Detail.'

#4 Herrozerro Dec 22, 2009 6:25:50	I felt like the Dragonomicon 2 was too full.  The full page above profile pictures were my favorites.  Only two Artifacts and it seemed like the book was stuffed to the gills and thus was poorely laided out compared to the first book.
