i am so very impressed at how elegantly at your expense synergizes fluff and crunch.  bravo, mr. schwalb.

Though I wish that the mechanics had more to do with gnomes (great fluff though), I have to say that I loved almost all of the powers.  I really wish phantasmal henchman was available when I was playing my artificer, especially since I didn't particularly care for any of my level 3 encounter powers.

Yes, bravo!
A well balanced article, that it's focus was on my favorit race was simply gravy.

I liked the article a lot, but I'm a little confused. Are these powers supposed to be for gnomes only or can any race make use of them?

I really liked the design of the powers.  Most of them had effects, and few could be wasted by bad dice.  Another Bravo, purely from that perspective.

i think the intent was for these powers to be closely associated with gnaomes (thus, the all-gnome fluff), but it was best to make the powers available to all members of the respective classes.  i like this choice.

Okay, so did anyone else look at the artwork on the cover of the article and have the first thing that popped into their be: "Oh look, a super saiyan with a dragon ball!"?
