| #1ranadielNov 01, 2008 7:04:02 | Well the table of contents isn't out yet, but we do have the release schedule for the articles. November 3rd -Playing Minotaurs Roll up your next D&D character -- as a minotaur! -Ampersand Bill shows off more from Player's Handbook 2. -Editorial November 7th -Bazaar of the Bizarre One of the authors of Adventurer's Vault brings you even more amazing magic items, each with a story to tell. -Skill Challenges Mike explores the ins and outs of the skill challenge system, with examples of unique implementations. November 10th -Demonomicon What good are minotaurs without the Horned One? Featured in December's release Manual of the Planes, Baphomet's goals, history, and allies are explored in detail. -RPGA Report The Living FR campaign is in full swing. Learn more about how to get involved! November 14th -Class Acts: Warlord New powers for your warlord. -Design & Development: The Barbarian and the Bard Logan and Mike talk about the creation of these two classic D&D classes as the launch of Player's Handbook 2 approaches. November 17th -Io'vanthor Once a grand city of Arkhosia, this now-ruined city of the fallen dragonborn empire waits for adventurers to explore its mysteries. -Creature Incarnations More of the get of Yeenoghu are described in this article, which supports the Scales of War Adventure Path adventure, "Den of the Destroyer." November 21st -Dragonslayers With the Draconomicon out, DMs have new tricks to spring on unsuspecting PCs, so use this article to fight back! -Confessions of a Full-Time Sorceress Shelly gives thanks for D&D for being able to teach kids important life lessons and wonders what her life would be like if she'd started playing sooner. Playing Minotaurs should surely prove to be entertaining(the playing articles have been one of my favorite series). However the big highlight of the month for me is going to be the Design and Development. I'm really looking forward to seeing what kinds of tidbits of information are going to be hidden in there. I'm also curious as to what Io'vanthor is about. Considering the theme of dragons in the issue, and the fact the Io is in the name, I'm going to guess it is a city or group relating to dragons. So what are everyone else's thoughts? |

| #3koukNov 01, 2008 14:18:29 | Just names also don't tell us how long or involved things will be. What the heck is "Io'vanthor" anyway? We'll just have to see. |
| #4NivedNov 01, 2008 14:57:10 | I'm curious what we're going to see in Creature Incarnations. The Kobold Creature Incarnations article a few months back was one of my favorites. |
| #5ArtifactNov 01, 2008 15:24:59 | I'm curious who (or what :devil will be featured in Demonomicon this month. It's scheduled to release one day before my birthday, kind of an early present for me. |

| #8ranadielNov 02, 2008 5:22:02 | Io'Vanthor: Lost City of the Dragonborn Thank you, I have now updated the first post. I am now looking forward to Ampersand! Also does anyone else think the cover image looks like it was originally made for last month's issue(the gladiator issue) and the minotaur and cover got pushed back because of the barbarian delay? |
| #9ArtifactNov 02, 2008 17:21:23 | Thank you, I have now updated the first post. It's actually the cover of Dragon Magazine #303, re-used. This is the print issue that features "Campaign Components: Gladiators" and "Blood and Fame" (gladiator prestige classes). It's part of a crossover with Dungeon Magazine #96 (the adventure "Pandemonium in the Veins"). Other Campaign Components features were: Knights (#299), Swashbucklers (#301), Spies (#316). One of my favorite series, and all too short. |
