Dragon 369 won't download for me!

Nov 24, 2008 10:22:02 This morning I tried repeatedly to download the complete Dragon 369 issue & all I keep getting for my efforts is a redirect back to the ToC page along with a pop-up that says I need to be a DDI subscriber in order to download the issue.

Problem is, I already am a subscriber (& yes, I logged in beforehand). Has anyone else encountered this problem before, & if so, can you tell me who I should be yelling at?

EDIT: Apparently, it's a problem with the site's login system, so at least it'll be fixed soon.

Nov 26, 2008 10:00:43 I'm using IE 6 and Adobe Reader 6. Here's what I have to do in order to downlaod and open Insider content:

I right click on the "See It Now" link, then right click on "Save As", which brings up an option to save as a "html" file. That won't work, so I close the menu.

Then, I right click on the "See It Now" link (yes, again), then right click on "Save As"; this time, an option appears to save as a "pdf" file. That's what I want, so I save the file.

So in brief: I open, then close (apparently this moves me past the "asp" page-- whatever that is ;)). I open (again), then save as normal.

Hope this can be of help to anyone who is having problems. I've tried to make the "work around" as clear and hopefully as *universal* as I know how. There's a mention in Digital Insider #12 concerning the download issues; WotC is aware there is problems.

Dec 11, 2008 15:20:54 I'm getting the same error trying to download the more recent chapters in the Adventure Path, and I've noticed that only the first three modules have the See it now! pdf link. Tech Support's answers amount to "well, you need to be logged in", and if you're logged in, they don't have much else to say.
