I feel that an online membership for the insider that includes a full downloadable subscription to Dragon and Dungeon is totally worth it. Let's get this going.

Is the magazine going to be discontinued from print?

The mags have not been printed for something like 18 months.

Free membership for online ezines downloadable are about to end.

Where have you been?

either that it is a WOTC employee trying to be funny as if they think we will fall for anything...like suddenly someone says..:embarrass

Hey lets do a subscription for the E-zines..

will suddenly make us forget about the last year of failures

Oct 04, 2008 12:56:44 Basically, the online subscription to D&D Insider is how you get the magazines. They are only delivered electronically now, as individual articles on the website or as a monthly compiled PDF of the articles.

You also get access to the online Compendium of rules, and the forthcoming Character Builder and 3D Character visualizer for the monthly fee.

Oct 08, 2008 15:49:58 Can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree, let's get this party started already. Having people pay for the online mags is sure to shake things up and I'm curious about how it's all gonna work out.

The preview period started out lackluster (IMHO at least ;)); then, things picked up once the 4e issues began showing up. I'm anxious to see if the trend continues (and escalates) into the subscription phase or whether things will even out, or will things drop off (again).

Will they sell more mags (and reach more people) online than they did on the newstand? (thus justifying the cancelation of the print in my mind). Will lots of people buy the mags or will they be overlooked? (as they often have been in my opinion).

Curious and anxious am I ;).
