Anyone now which dragon had the feat in it that allowed the riding of medium creatures?

May 15, 2010 5:39:30 I don't know about a feat, but the latest round of errata removed the “, and no smaller than Large size” requirement from the mounts section of the DMG.

May 15, 2010 6:38:02 There is the Beast Rider feat from Dragon 384 which allows you to ride a beast companion of your size or larger, but at least medium sized.
