They have only missed one Mon/Wed/Fri this month which was the 15th which was technically released on the 16th.
do have late in the day releases every so often(or frequently I guess).
This month has seemed like a lot of midnight releases. I don't know if it's actually a lot, but it seems like it.
On the other hand, August's edition had a release every other day - save one - for Dragon alone. They may be meeting the letter of the plan, but...it doesn't feel like they're hitting the mark.
That's how I'm feeling as well. They're not necessarily behind schedule, which is good. On the other hand, they aren't exactly making a good impression, which is not good.
Dragon/Dungeon are good IMHO. There's a way to go before they're great though. Since the print magazines were canceled for this, I really want them to be great . . . and they simply aren't (yet).
As a D&D collector, I'm at an unusual place: After twenty years of buying books, and around fifteen years of buying the magazines, I'm finally at the point were I'm willing to move on; just a bit disappointed. but not bitter or hateful ;). It was fun while it lasted, so no complaints.

I love 4E (first time I've ever really liked D&D, actually), and am running a campaign that I and my players are loving. We're doing the Scales of War AP, even, and August's magazines were really good, with lots of exciting stuff. I was all set to subscribe. However, September has killed the urge, more or less.
Why has the last Dragon Magazine article been on the 9th? I haven't seen one since and it's already the 22nd. So much about the Mon., Wed., Fri. promise on releasing articles in a timely fashion.
According to your signature, you don't like 4e, don't think anyone should buy or play it, think it is designed for toddlers, and think d&d died upon its release. If this is the case, why are you angry about the release schedule of a 4e crunch magazine? Seriously, I am curious.
