Dragonling Familiar Healing Surge Bonus Not Added In, and One More Thing...

Mar 22, 2011 21:16:51 As in the title, and just as in the old CB, a character (like mine) with a Dragonling familiar gets a constant benefit of additional hit points per healing surge (2 in heroic, 3 for paragon, 4 in epic). These points are not factored into the healing surge value on the character sheet. The constant benefit of speaking Draconic is working fine.

Also, when I try to remove a mount with a custom name from a character imported from the old CB, the mount stays. When I sell it, I get the money but the mount stays.

And, not everything with the Mount keyword is available as a mount choice. I want my Warwing Drake mount, please.

Last year it was on the list.
WotC said it was fixed but it was not.

Still not fixed.

Feb 21, 2012 19:26:47 The text of the Dragonling reads "When you spend a healing surge, you regain 2 additional hit points," which is semantically different than saying "Gain +2 to your healing surge value." Therefore, character builder is working correctly because you don't actually increase your healing surge value but instead gain extra healing when you spend a healing surge. This may be important if your character has an ability that relates to your healing surge value but doesn't involve you actually spending a healing surge to heal.
