Are 3 levels really enough to playtest the features of a class?? It's nice to have the complete builds, but only 3 levels?

Besides... why is the article a website with no art and viewable to anyone? Does that mean even less exclusive content this month? I'm really glad I hadn't upgraded my subscription to a one-year, because this is really getting disappointing...

I agree, if the playtest articles are to be free for everyone, that means there is less paid for content this month than I thought there would be when I started my one month subscription.

I too noticed the missing 3rd level of powers. As you guys pointed out this isnt even a real Dragon article, just a website one. I am very disappointed.

Seems like every other class. So what is the difference?

And notice that the editorial seems a bit odd - the issue is full of playtests and the whole editorial is an advertisment for the Manual of the Planes...

It would be great to have answers to the following questions:

Why is there so less exclusive new content in this months issue?
Why do we get so many playtests?
Why are playtest now open for everyone?
Why do we get only 2 levels to "playtest" a class?

I'm also deeply disappointed here. We have two playtest articles which were 30-level articles focusing on one build. Based on that, I expected the same from the Druid and the Invoker; I was assuming that was part of why I'm paying for this stuff.

So what's up, Wizards? Where's the rest of it?

It looks like the editorial calendar has been updated and the Druid and Invoker articles are now listed as previews rather than playtests. The Adventurer's Vault II article is still listed as a playtest, and the Mercykillers article now looks like a normal article rather than either a playtest or preview.

They pulled a Barbarian on us! Those diabolical...

Just gonna keep posting this in case someone is paying attention, but I am really not impressed by the idea of taking the content that people are subscribing for and making it free (and not useful) by turning it into a preview instead of keeping it the playtest.

I was hesitant to sign up in the first place, loved the content last month but am already feeling pretty ripped off this month and it is only the 1st. I would sure appreciate some consistency on the part of DDi since I am consistently paying for it.

I think the answer to both of these in regards to the Druid is, its a preview not a playtest. There's a pretty big difference between the two. Think watching a "Trailer" for a movie and actually getting a "Sneak Peak" at the movie. A better comparison might be getting to play a demo of a video game and getting to play the "beta" for the game.

Was I disappointed to only see 2 levels worth of powers there? Yes
Did I love reading every word? Yes
Am I going to Survive till PHB2 releases to read the rest? Yes

It's a preview now. It's been advertised as a playtest for weeks. I think someone else said it was changed to a preview last night sometime.

Thank you. I don't expect anyone to suddenly say "WHOA! Here's the other 28 levels" (as in, I may not agree with WotC's decision, but I'm sure there was a compelling reason for it, whatever that may be) but I appreciate your looking into it.

Nothing to see here folks, everything is "working as intended." Yes I'm sure they really meant playt--preview all along. Glad to hear WotC can cover their tracks with the best of 'em.

Very disappointing.

The Druid and Invoker articles should have been labled as previews, further more they were intended to be behind the wall for subscribers only. This has been corrected.

We apologize for any confusion.

Ah. Will they be adding the Level 3 Encounter powers, or retitling the article?

Looks like they added in the Level 3 powers. Thanks for chasing that one down, Mudbunny and Solice.
