| #1mojofooJan 03, 2012 19:04:27 | In the character builder my Wizard can't have both of these feats, despite meeting the prerequesites for both. Is this a bug? It seems like it but I want to be sure. Thank you. |

| #4warrlJan 03, 2012 20:49:00 | Same question that should always be asked when the character builder won't allow something it should: Did you begin by clicking buttons for a "Custom" character in a "D&D Home Campaign"? If you didn't, you are cut off from some content. It isn't that the builder won't let you have both of those feats at the same time, it's that one of them (or maybe both) is not available period. Unfortunately there is no way *in the character builder* at present to convert a character created via the "New" button or in some other campaign setting, to that campaign setting. (You can export the character to your PC, edit the XML file to change the text specifying how it was created, and import it again. It isn't difficult, but some people find it scary. Also export a character built in the "D&D Home Campaign" setting so that you can see what the text in question should say.) If you DID begin the character as specified, there's some other problem. Just to check the obvious, you are putting the two feats in different feat slots? (This is not intended to imply that you're stupid. I've been a computer geek for decades and spent a fair amount of time in customer support, and I apply "check the obvious" to MY OWN problems with technology, preferably before I have pounded my head on the wall hard enough to draw blood. It works embarrassingly often.) |

IIRC, a prereq for Second Implement is having Arcane Implement Mastery, and the Mage don't have that. |
