Oh my players are going to so hate some of the monsters in this module. I think I will definately be stealing the "Infested Tower" encounter as is.

I intend on adapting this adventure in the FR. Anyone has ideas where to set the "starting city" ? Also, souldn't the BBEG be part of some sort of greater organisation ?

I'm quite inexperienced with the realms, so any help, tips and such are more than welcome.

You could use Baldur's Gate. Bloomridge seems a good neighborhood to place the main BBEG, and the Cloak Wood could host the Tower.

Regarding the devil organization, most of devil cults are linked to Imaskar. If yuo have the FR Campaign Guide look at page 79 for some ideas.

I have another question regarding this adventure. It says that Joaquinn tells the PCs that they have been attacked the day before. Though the PCs have been hired before that.

I understand that it's Amala who used the sending ritual before the attack to launch its plan. But what's the reason for doing this so early ? Is it an attempt to make Lady Marissa look guilty ? I don't really get the point here.

Another question. The trails the PCs follow pass by the cottage. What happened to the leading group when they arrived at the cottage ? Or did they just pass by, but in that case, why would the PCs bother to check the cottage ? This cottage feels to me more like a filler than a real part of this adventure. Maybe am I again missing something here.

Amala is trying to clean house. Maybe she didn't tell Lady Marissa the whole plan because she wants to 'clean' her as well.

As for the cottage, maybe the first party surprised the occupants, but the PC's had no such luck.
