| #1BolongoOct 28, 2009 3:28:45 | There's a lot of blank pages in this one... More importantly, the TOC is almost completely screwed up. Seriously, look at it. Only the editorial and the first adventure have the correct page given. |
| #2laraekOct 28, 2009 8:54:10 | There's a problem with the download again. Why is there always a problem with the download? |
| #3AxetogrindOct 28, 2009 9:51:58 | There are 4 blank pages at the end. My biggest problem is the Art and Map links. Why is it that every month these are broken for the first 24 hours? |
| #4laraekOct 28, 2009 15:23:49 | I downloaded the issue compendium in Internet Explorer and had no problems. Guess it's a Firefox issue, maybe? |
| #5laraekOct 28, 2009 15:24:55 | But there are a few blank pages at the end of the pdf. Pages 117 thru 125 have the Dungeon craft logo and title, but no text or art. |
| #6PinkRoseOct 28, 2009 15:49:39 | Doesn't work for Firefox, IE, or Chrome. Link is Broke-en. |
| #7apartmentOct 28, 2009 19:57:53 | Doesn't work for Firefox, IE, or Chrome. Same problem here. I've been trying to download it on and off since shortly after midnight, when the links first arrived on the front page. I had to manually download all the gallery images, since the archives were broken links, and I haven't been able to access the issue compilation at all. Dear Wizards of the Coast D&D Insider team, If your intent is to make the DDI service more valuable and desirable, consider implementing even the slightest degree of quality control and taking action more swiftly than "eh, whenever." Thanks in advance, A decreasingly loyal customer |
| #8PinkRoseOct 29, 2009 1:29:50 | Still broken. Sending e-mails now. |
| #9BolongoOct 29, 2009 2:44:20 |
Page 108 is also blank. And as I pointed out, the TOC is FUBAR. |
| #10morandir62Oct 29, 2009 17:17:54 | Did anyone else notice the "Artwork" with no corresponding articles. I guess the scarecrow ripped out pages 108, 117-125. |
| #11PinkRoseOct 29, 2009 23:07:34 | Why don't the links go anywhere on the Calendar page? It would be much easier if you could get all your comilations from there then having to go to individual pages for each issue. Please fix the links. |
| #12BolongoOct 30, 2009 18:29:00 | Oh look, now the link to the compilation has been pulled. Wonder if we'll see a fixed version on Monday? Also wondering when they'll actually upload the latest Dragon art gallery zip... |
| #13ranadielOct 31, 2009 5:12:42 |
??? o_o No it hasn't, it is still exactly where it was. It still has blank pages at the end, but the link is still good. |

Yeah, it's back now, and it's still the messed-up version, but I promise: it was gone for a while. I find it sort of surprising that this slipped through; even the most cursory glance at the TOC should start alarm bells ringing. My best guess is that the wrong version of the file somehow got posted, and there's nobody working there over the weekend who can find the right one. |
| #15PinkRoseNov 01, 2009 13:20:41 | I find it sort of surprising that you find it surprising. I feel Quality Control has gotten worse as the DDI has gone on. |
| #16KerrusNov 01, 2009 18:56:05 | I get the feeling they're relying very heavily on spellcheck/grammarcheck to tell them if there's anything wrong with their articles, and very little on personal checking. If the compiling program says 'it's good' then they post it, no questions ask. Given how much work they do on it, sure, I can understand why you might be sick to the gills of looking at it, and decide to not take another glance at it, but frankly we need that process to happen.
Thanks in absentia, Kerretical Kerrus out. |
| #17BolongoNov 03, 2009 10:53:59 | They're not gonna fix this at all, are they? |
| #18mudbunnyNov 03, 2009 12:42:24 | They were poked on Friday about it, but it is entirely possible that, over the weekend, it got forgotten about or something else came up. I will do some poking again. |

Hey guys. Sorry that there have been some broken things with the site lately. I've been passing the issues you guys have reported up the chain as soon as I hear about them. To date, it looks like all the links related to this issue(Dungeon 171) are working correctly. If you know of any that are still broken, please let me know. As far as the editing issues inside the actual magazine, I've talked with our Community Management lead about them, and from what he tells me, they are working on correcting some of the major ones. I don't have any details about which issues, whether its just some of them or all of them, or when the fix will be in place. I'll see what I can do about getting more of that info back to you as soon as we get the rest of the broken links from the other issues fixed. Thanks for your patience, folks. Its really appreciated. Edit: I was Ninja'd by Mudbunny! Bleargh! |
| #20pamelaNov 04, 2009 11:57:50 | I've just opened up the pdf. There is still no Torm article included and there are three articles listed as being on page 90. The back pages are still blank. |
| #21andrewrfNov 11, 2009 0:00:17 | Still not fixed |
| #22BolongoNov 17, 2009 0:58:56 | Weekly update: this issue compilation is still SNAFU. |
| #23DMapleNov 30, 2009 7:44:31 | One month on and still not fixed! Can you poke them with the cattle prod again? Great service we are paying for. |
| #24AxetogrindNov 30, 2009 9:23:34 | I guess I won't complain about this months links being broken. If last months articles are still in a shambles. ![]() ![]() |
| #25WotC_TrevorDec 02, 2009 17:31:55 | Hey guys. I want to get whatever is broken fixed here, but I want to make sure I've got it all. The download link for Dungeon 171 compilation works (now, I know it didn't always). After a random sampling, it looks like all the current calendar links currently work as well. Are there any other links that are broken? The pages in the table of contents don't line up with the actual articles, and that's definitely frustrating. Working on getting that fixed. This includes the mismatched pages, the Eye of Justice article missing from the TOC, the three articles listed on page 90 and the chunk of blank pages at the end. Anything else I'm missing? |
| #26DMapleDec 03, 2009 11:35:00 | Page 108 is also blank. I think it is meant to have a voucher for 95% off your next WotC purchase. ![]() |
| #27ShroomyDec 11, 2009 13:32:56 | It seems the issue compilation has been corrected. |
| #28BolongoDec 13, 2009 5:09:18 | Page 108 is still blank, but that's no biggie. At least all the page numbers match now. ![]() |
| #29DMapleDec 16, 2009 10:18:24 | What still no voucher? |
| #30vincienteDec 22, 2009 14:31:31 | Page 108 is still blank, but that's no biggie. At least all the page numbers match now. It is now a week since you posted... and I am finding page 108 empty as well. On a side note... I can't seem to get a copy of this issue to save on my PC. |
| #31vincienteJan 30, 2010 2:12:59 | Here we are yet another month later & the page (108) is still not fixed... Is there a staff member who can poke the people who fix the PDF issues? You can use this.... uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Pointed_stic... |
| #32vincienteMar 02, 2010 1:32:31 | Can I get an official answer as to if page 108 is suppose to be blank? Not knowing leaves me feeling that I am missing something that I should have gotten. Sorry for being kinda a**l about just 1 page, but I tend to obsess about having things completed. |
| #33rhianni32Mar 02, 2010 9:24:52 | Yes its supposed to be blank. 107 ends with an about the author section. That always signifies the end of an article. 109 begins a new article. The table of contents do no show any articles on 108 so there arent any 1 page articles. |
