Side Trek for 7th-Level Characters

it is very nice. i like that short side trek that could possibly be covered in one session without straying far from a major campaign goal.
i've got to send the party out against a large carnivorous creature soon anyway, i'll probably use some elements from this side trek. i won't be using an owlbear, though.
I hope everyone really enjoys the side trek; it was originally one of my favorite encounters from Oasis of the Golden Peacock, but unfortunately, it had to be cut for space. I'm glad that Steve Winter and Chris Youngs liked it enough to want to use it as the basis for a side trek, and Steve definitely deserves a lot of credit for the final product.
