| #2Style75Oct 12, 2010 14:55:47 | I really like the look of this adventure and plan to drop it into a non-chaos scar campaign ASAP. I like the mixture of humanoids and monsters, especially the Black Pudding. I find that a lot of the published adventures lately are humanoid heavy and it's nice to see some of the wierd-and-uglies make an appearance. I'll post a full play-test review of this adventure once I run it, probably in two weeks time. While I'm thinking about it, I would like to request from the editor of Dungeon a beast heavy dungeon crawl soon. It'd be nice to see a good selection of old school monsters; cubes, puddings, rust monsters, carrion crawlers, otyughs, etc. This would fit nicely with the whole red box/essentials theme. There's something about ridding the world of slimy vermin that always goes down well with my players. Guilt free killing. Nobody worries about the baby rust monsters left behind.... |
