#11 mattdm Aug 26, 2008 9:22:15	Gotta remember that WotC is based in Seattle, and even if their web people are 9-5 workers, they're not going to be in for another couple hours. Now, if this is going to be the business model for the future, maybe investing in some 24-hour support staff is wise — at least somebody who can page the sysadmins when needed.

If they're going to auto-create a thread, they should link to it. Alas, they don't auto-create these threads, the mudbunny or his News Guides (like myself) have to create the threads in this forum, and we don't get any access to the articles themselves. So, on Mon, Wed, and Fri I check the magazines every couple hours, and make a new thread when I see a post is up. I'd asked Gamer_Zero to speak to the article staff about the "Discussion" links, but I don't know if things ever got up the chain. I'll pester Solice about it now. . . and failing that,as part of my "official blogger" stint I was given Chris Youngs' e-mail, so might be that I can get lucky and get things pointed to the proper forum sections with a little begging (at least, for future articles, I doubt anyone's gonna go through the old articles to change them).

#14 Cryonax Aug 26, 2008 13:03:15	My first reaction was that some of you were using Firefox while others were using IE. Switching from one to the other often solves the problem. Not this time. It still doesn't work (1:57pm EST, 8/26/2008) using either. With two threads complaining about it, you'd think they'd have fixed it by now.

#16 Grazel Aug 26, 2008 13:41:20	Same here, though I get a 'thinking' screen as the asp page tries to locate the pdf file. I suspect it's either an IIS timeout or someone didn't match the name of the file to the link properly.

#20 asmodeuslore Aug 26, 2008 15:08:52	I think my favorite part is the Great Escape... The twist with the resistance isn't bad either. spoilers ahead... Show A troll with intelligence, leaping to his 'death' only to get up and walk away before the PCs can follow him... I think its a nice piece of strategy, especially for a reoccuring villain. I may employ at some point with intelligent trolls and a different storyline. Also, the idea of the rebel leader trying to double-cross the PCs is an ok twist. The problem is I don't see the story being compelling enough in its own right. My players would be bored with this story before I got a chance to spring the twist on them.
