It is the only reason I even bought the 4.0 materials and still we can not use it. My patience is ebbing and I am about to forget all about the service and WOTC.

It was announced at GenCon '07 - but I don't think they had anything other than screenshots of mockups there. It demoed at DDXP '08 with Didier showing off some of the features. They showed another demo at GenCon '08 (and ComicCon). So it's only been in the public eye for about a year and a half. However, there's no release date at this time. The optimists among us (myself) are still hoping/expecting to see it 3rd or 4th quarter this year. The pessimists are anticipating it as late as mid-2010. The naysayers believe it's all smoke and mirrors.
