Dungeon Magazine Website Suggestion

I am an avid subscriber to Dragon magazine and the Character Builder and Adventure Tools. I also DM most of the games I play in, but I choose to create my own adventures rather than use premade ones, so I don't usually get a lot of mileage out of Dungeon.

However, I find myself suddenly planning a campaign on short notice for 3rd level characters, and I wanted to pick up something easy to run.

Imagine my dismay when I went to the Dungeon Article Archive and found that I could not search for adventures by level. I feel this is a grave oversight, and would be incredibly useful for the rushed and limited-for-time DM.

P.S. Being able to search adventures by camaign setting would be great too. Though I understand that most adventures only require a little re-flavoring to work in any setting, you still do publish adventures specifically for certain campaign settings, such as The Maze of Shattered Souls taking place in Eberron. It would be nice to be able to perform a search, or have a list, of adventures by level for any given campaign setting, and that this would be easy to find from your website.

Avon, just as a suggestion, if you need a quick option for a full campaign, take a look at the Scales of War adventure path. It would be very easy to jump into the mix with Siege of Bordrin's Watch, as many felt that the Rescue at Rivenroar adventure was rather forgettable. You just need to make a few minor plot accomodations to make sure certain elements are in place for later adventures.

Jun 10, 2010 13:09:24 Thanks, Mudbunny. I found that with some more searching. However I feel like my suggestion still stands. The Dungeon website itself should have that functionality, if they really want their website to be useful for DMs. (Who really searches for adventures by date published?)

Nyte: Wasn't that adventure about a dwarven city and an army of orcs? I guess that would be doable for the Mror Holds, but I was hoping for something with a little more Eberrony or urban flare. As for using he adventure path as a whole, I've read the synopsi of all it's parts and I can say fairly certainly that it doesn't really fit into Eberron at all. Thanks for the suggestion though.
