Yes, I'm logged in. This is not what I paid for. |

The link could have been populated without the supporting document being present. If it doesnt work for you today then complain all you want. If it's on, you'll experience all sorts of problems with WOTC's site by my experience. My guess to the reason for this is that they make use of cookies, etc. to track log-in status, forum articles read, etc. HTH! |
| #5enforcer5981Dec 12, 2008 12:30:44 | This isn't the first article that I've had problems with, so not exactly knee jerk. Weirdly enough, I can get it to save with Firefox, but only after I choose "Save Linked File As," hit Cancel (because it shows up as "download.asp" rather than "articleiwant.pdf", and then do it over (the actual PDF shows up only on the second try). I don't have Safari's Private Browsing on, and I don't understand why Firefox would work and Safari wouldn't. I'll give Safari another shot without my Reader plugin, but honestly it seems to me like the issue is on WotC's end, not mine--there are other subscriber sites I belong to that let me download PDFs with Safari as-is. More annoying is that I've emailed the D&D Insider team twice about this problem with absolutely no response... C'mon guys, the character generator may still be in Beta (and not Mac compatible, which I knew and accepted when I paid), but the magazines are supposed to be working as part of a paid service (and no mention was made of lack of Mac or Safari support that I remember). |

When I click on the little "D" in the chart of adventures in the Adventure Path, it gives me a popup saying I need to log in to DDI; I have a screen shot of that little window next to the message on the main screen saying You are logged in to D&D Insider... yeah, the site's working great, guys. |

Until I found a solution for Safari, firefox was the only reliable way for me to access the content. I wonder if this is "working as intended"... |
| #8ArtifactDec 19, 2008 16:54:29 | I've also been one of those struggling with a "work-around" when it comes to viewing Insider content. I've heard the idea of removing the adobe plug-in before. What is it exactly? I assume the idea isn't to delete Adobe Reader entirely but to remove some small part of the program that is causing problems. Where would I look for this plug-in? The Adobe program folder is a start, but where after that? Is there an icon that will help me identify it? I don't want to mistakingly erase the wrong thing. |
