Dec 21, 2008 0:52:47 I think that it would be a cool feature if wizards made it so you could put characters youve already made without the character creator into the character creator by typing in your own stats and putting in what your powers and talents and all that stuff from your home made from the book character onto the computer. I dont know if there is already that feature though because ive been goofing around with it for a little bit and cant find it if there is.

Dec 28, 2008 14:58:07 Is there any reason that you *cannot* do this? Just go through from step 1 and enter in the appropriate values from your handwritten sheet. Make the same choices and everything should line up, assuming you did all the math correctly.

Sep 07, 2011 3:00:37 What I wish they would do is include all of the races and classes that there are. Immediately I noticed that there was no Druid. How can this be called the new character builder and not include the Druid or the Psion. These are just two that I can think of in less time then it took me to notice they weren't there. This is an issue that I believe needs to be seriously looked into.

Sep 07, 2011 3:04:51 Did you use the "New" button? If so, that's the problem. The "New" button limits you to Essentials-only material, which does not include the psion or the shapeshifting druid. If you want to be able to access all of the game's content then you need to use "Custom" instead.

Yes, this setup has been the subject of numerous complaints, but WotC seems determined to keep it that way.

Sep 07, 2011 3:17:19 I am using the beta version to test the program out. Either way WotC needs to correct all of it's bugs. If they want people to continue to BUY their products then they need to put the effort into fixing problems when they arise as well as adding all of the basic's like classes and races. Otherwise someone is going to create there own that is completely supirior and let people download it for free then will bitch because because they aren't making as much money anymore.
