Feb 17, 2011 18:05:15 It used to be that you could get the issues that you had paid for and download them to your computer for later refference or for use in game. Now it appears, besides not having half the content accessible for the people who have paid, they have taken the ability to wholly download the content away aswell. Haven't you bleed me dry enough, or the rest of these people here? FGS Why would you take away the last thing that was keeping me here? The ball is in your court wizards!

Feb 17, 2011 18:30:16 They announced the discontinuation of end-of-month compiled PDFs a few weeks back, but you should still be able to get the compilation versions up to December (I think that was the last fully compiled set?). Unless they've taken those older compilations down too now (I don't think they have).

From here on out, if you want articles, you have to download them singly.

Feb 17, 2011 19:32:41 This just makes me furious. I'd love to swear and scream. It went online but the service wasn't going to change. meh seems like to much work lets just change it... what's next?

If you find the removal of compilations unacceptable, my advice would be to e-mail dndinsider@wizards.com with your thoughts and comments (and I recommend presenting them in a calm and civil fashion). That seems the best way to pass along our message - while they do pay some attention to the forums (largely thanks to the underappreciated work of Mudbunny and other VCLs), a direct e-mail is more likely to come to their attention.

Feb 18, 2011 14:59:21 Thanks FOr The suggestion, now that I've vented most of my bile on the forums I find myself able to compose a polite letter outlining all my grievences as well as some suggestions to fix things.

Feb 18, 2011 17:49:32 Yep, I've just written a polite letter to them to that effect. I think there is a lot to be said for the weight of polite and firm emails to this one. It's not like it's impossible for them to start re compiling again, and it drives me nuts they stopped (as I used the pdf versions offline a lot!)
