Hi all,

Not sure if there is a thread like this somewhere on the board, but I'm curious what articles and support people would want to see made available in Dragon with so many elements missing from the Eberron Player's Guide.

I personally would enjoy the following:

Heir of Sirberys / Siberys mark rules
Daelkyr Half-blood character race
Ecology of the Kalashtar
Ecology of the Changeling
Druidic Sects of Eberron
Dragon Prophet Paragon class - Marks of Prophecy like the 3e Dragon prophet PrC
Deathless - playable race info or epic destiny

An article on talanta halflings, complete with the mechanics for razorclaw ranger beast companions, and a method for other talanta halflings to get their hands on some sort of razerclaw mount as well.

I want to see a PP similar to the griffonrider but using halflings and dinos.
I want to see Sybris Marks and their rules.
I want to see many backdrop articles.

Planes of Eberron. That one would even get me to sign up, at least for a month.

I want to see:

Heir of Siberys and Child of Khyber PPs
Druidic Sects of Eberron (including how they make use of martial rangers and the new primal classes)
Elemental Vehicles (stats for purchasing and using elemental carts, galleons, and airships of different types)
Eberronian Epic Destinies (Traveler Incarnate for changelings, say.)
Backdrop articles for exotic locales like New Hope or that one port in Reidra.

I'll hold off on requesting a "Planes" article until we see what the ECG has to say about the new cosmology, but in the meantime, a player-oriented Goblinoids article featuring PC-worthy stats for goblins, hobgoblins, and bugbears would be very useful to everyone, not just Eberron players, and if there's some additional Eberron-specific information in there (like the blurb about the Znir Pact in Keith Baker's gnoll article), so much the better. :D

More backdrop articles are always good. I've used the Graywall one multiple times now for inspiration.

A repost of my thoughts from the Eberron Lore thread:

All of the above suggestions would be most welcome. At the top of my list, though, would be articles making the Goblinoids (goblins, hobgoblins and bugbears) and Orcs fully playable races. They make up far too rich a part of Eberron's history (and present) to remain "MM races".

^ This.

I'm also interested in seeing the return of Siberys marks and a proper expansion on Aberrant marks (PPs, rituals, feats, etc.).

Articles concerning the espionage/cold war aspect of Eberron. Information/PPs for groups such as the Dark Lanterns, adventures that are more like spy missions than dungeon crawling, that sort of thing.

I completely agree. That is all.

I'd like to see more dragonshard items for dragonmarked characters, and a bit about the Eberron specific materials like byeshk, targath, flametouched iron and the various woods.

There is oh so much I want for Eberron.

Number one is a series of articles on the druid sects. Each sect gets its own big write-up. The Wardens and the Gatekeepers get most of the press, but with the introduction of the feyspires, I think I would start with the Greensingers.

I also want a "Rajahnomicon" focusing on the Rakshasa overlords. Much like the Demonomicon and Codex of Betrayal articles.

The more Eberron, the better.

More aberrant dragonmark feats, please.

And articles about goblin(oids) as player races would be just peachy, too.

Please and thank you!

While watching Good Eats, another idea came to me: an article (or better yet: series) on food of Eberron. There wouldn't be any rules to it -- all flavor.

p.s. That wasn't meant as a pun.

Color me weird, but I was expecting the Eberron Player's Guide to have rules for Talenta Halflings and their Dinosaur Mounts.
The whole rule that "all mounts must be Large" from the DMG makes re-creating them a little difficult (both Halfling Riders miniatures I have are on Medium mounts...which is cheatery in 4th edition)...and the fact that we have Small Goblins riding Medium wolves in some modules made me think a slew of Medium-Sized Mounts might be on their way for Small characters.

Not a big deal but sort of flavor/sort of expanded rules that have been implied a few times but still haven't shown up.
-Jared

Edit: And our group actually asked Customer Support about the Medium Mount thing. The answer was, and I paraphrase, the "Mounts must be Large" rule was put there to prevent characters from riding something the same size as them. Customer Support even suggested houseruling medium mounts for our game for that very reason. So yeah, we're not crazy. There just might not be such a big demand for Halfling Outrider/Talenta Clawfoot Riders out there.

You're right, something probably should have been in the EPG.

However, there are medium mounts capable of carrying small creatures in the ECG. If you are interested in playing a Talenta Halfling on a dinosaur, talk to your DM.

Dinosaurs of Eberron! With lots of stuff for beastmaster rangers, lots of enemies to fight, pets to buy/tame, mounts, and some dinosaur themed powers (especially in primal power source, as well as with familiars).

Exactly what I did and why my Melee Halfing Bard rides with pride. Can't believe I forgot about the DM's Guide to Eberron. The original DMG had the mount rules in it, so it kinda makes sense. :sound of forehead being slapped:
