Editing XML Layout ...

May 12, 2009 15:00:07 Editing the XML layout makes a unresponsive program. I try to move something around and it freezes and I can only exit it by forcing the program to shut down.
I have tried it on both of my computers.

Any ideas?

May 12, 2009 17:07:47 Not much beyond "don't do that." I'm guessing it wasn't designed to be altered outside the program, and the program probably expects specific things in exact locations.

You mean you're moving the character sheet boxes around? Ah. I thought you meant you were manually editing the XML of the .dnd4e files that the character builder uses. Sorry about that.

I haven't tried moving anything around recently; can't tell you if the problem is common.
