Eladrin soldier + Urgosh proficiency issues

Apr 05, 2010 4:10:41 I've been toying around with some thought experiments using eladrin avengers, and I can't get the urgosh to register proficiency with the eladrin soldier feat. Greatspear seems to be updating properly, but the urgosh gives me no + attack from proficiency or +damage from eladrin soldier.

Is this a primary/secondary issue? The dual weapon rules are somewhat vague on how their proficiencies apply.

Apr 06, 2010 14:52:38 You should have proficiency/useability with the spear end...but you won't have proficiency/attack bonus with the axe end...is how I think its supposed to work.

Apr 07, 2010 9:44:21 It's part of errata that happened some months back. Used to taking the feat would give you proficiency and damage with a whole weapon...now such feats only give proficiency and bonuses to the end of a double weapon that matches the feat.
