Hello, I am sorry if this has already been posted, i have been looking around including the sticky at the top of this section but i have not found anything that resembles the problem i am currently having. When I try to update, i get a fatal error stating that Elevator has had a problem and must shut down, however closing the error message window does nothing as another keeps popping up, forever. And if I do not close them they continue to pop up, forever. I tried to see how long they would continue and after 5 minutes and an unknown number of open windows stacking over each other I decided to force reboot. After a few fiddles I found that closing manualy the character builder stopped the error messages. I have not been able to update. I tried using the repair tool with no effect multiple times, I've tried rebooting, un-installing / re-installing, closing / opening, swearing at various gods and, I admit, sacrificing a small animal with no results. ;) I am now turning to the message boards for help. Please help me get my character builder updated. Thank you for your time.
