Not sure if this has been picked up on another thread but not all monster listings in the Encounter Builder are correct. Hobgoblin Grunts, for example, show up as Level 1 Minions when the MM lists them as Level 3 Minions. By comparing them with Zombie Rotters (the only other Level 3 Minion in the MM) the latter seems to be correct.

The tool itself is excellent btw and very useful in any event, just wanted to point out that some of the data still needs validating.

I would like to see it linked to the Compendium so we can get Stat Blocks that are easily printable for each of the monsters in an encounter we build. The other options are to copy all the info down by hand or constantly be flipping between pages in the Monster Manual. This is what I hoped the Encounter builder would be used for.

Or at the very least provide a hyper link to the appropriate compendium entry or a reference page/source for each monster.

First, thanks for the feedback. We're looking at people's suggestions and looking at what we can implement and when.

Second, there will be an update to the Encounter Builder soon with corrected monster data. "Soon" hopefully being next week.

Who are you? Where did you come from? What portion of DDI do you work directly on?

Sorry, but nobody introduced you yet and I would remember a TomO when I saw it.

Apparently he's been here all along, but he posts in bursts, like makes 5 posts in a single sitting, then vanishes for months on end.

I have a friend like that, though hopefully he's not exactly like my friend... Though I better go check and see if any of my booze is missing just to make sure.

They always said if you stand in the same place long enough every TomO, DickO, and HarryO would show up. :P

LOL. Yeah, I'm pretty notorious for lurking and posting infrequently. I'm trying to do better.

As for who I am and what I do, I'm a developer on the new UI/UX team. So I'll be looking for comments on the Character Generator as well as MOL. I was previously one of the client devs on the Goblin Game (*sniff*), but am still Chief Octorilla Wrangler.

I'm also Jonathan's code monkey for the Bonus Tools. So I'm very interested in people's comments so we can make the tools better as well as seeing what tools people would find useful.

So hello all and thanks for the comments (believe it or not, I've been gathering your feedback and should have an updated monster file for the Encounter builder soon as well as a feature for it that didn't make the cut at release).

(And I still run a 1st edition DnD game)

And you should still keep an eye on your liquor cabinet ;)

Thanks for introducing yourself so the community knows your part to play in DDI.

Hopefully Cart Sprinter (see I remembered T not L), can include you in the FAQ for quick reference so people will be able to quickly see the numbers of people that work on various things and know better who to direct specific questions to in the future.
