This and the ability to constrain the listings to specific books such just the Monstous Manual I would also be appreciated. Is this possible? ![]() |
| #2copproJun 01, 2009 20:44:00 | Aside from the Encounter Builder not going to be updated, DDi tools in general do not include the specific page number, as specific page numbers may change over time for different editions of the book. |
| #3dayzdarkJun 02, 2009 0:15:34 | It's worth noting, however, that the name of the book from which each monster, item, or whatever comes from is at the bottom of the stat block generated by the Compendium. If you click on the eye in the Encounter Builder, it pulls up the stat block from the Compendium. No page numbers for the reason already given, but it's usually not much trouble to find a monster, power, item, or whatever once you know which book to look at. |

Most of the changes we make each month to the character builder, and the reason it is so good, is because it is made by players, for players. |

Seeing an R&D person mention this is good, as it reinforces our desire to provide input, thanks ![]() Encounter builder that outputs a 2-page delve format for each encounter designed, would be superb! The tilemapper with all the sets, to make reference maps in the encounter output and have an index of tiles used for easy set-up. A repository of fan made encounters with user ratings would be extremely useful to both DM's and WOTC as it provide lots of content with minimal effort while you folks concentrate on the big stuff. Then sell us tiles, minis and poster maps... ;) |
