Will epic level play be seeing much more emphasis in Dragon and Dungeon? Dragon has touched on it a little bit with some good epic enemies and a few epic destinies, but I'd really love to see an article and/or adventure totally devoted to it. I just started an epic level campaign and could use all the help I can get.

I'm going to reply here, though I'm pretty sure this post will get moved at some point.

I would REALLY like to see this as well. One of my 2 campaigns I'm running right now will certainly reach Epic Tier. You guys got anything in mind for epix?

I think(just guessing) that whats happening right now is that wizards is getting low-levels out, with the expectation that most people are going to start their campaigns at this level.
A fair assumption, given the ratio seen in the past.

But now that things are starting to settle, you'll see epic adventures begin to trickle out. It certainly won't be a deluge, but I'd guess you'll see the first epic level adventure sometime before thanksgiving, and more and more after that.

Actually, given that they are recruiting writers at all times, I would expect that anyone who writes and submits an epic adventure of any level of decent quality will be instantly picked up.

Again, this is personal speculation.

Sounds logical to me.

looking at the LFR settings and what they propose to do for the future, wizards is doing like a pretty slow roll-out. lfr will be starting paragon next summer, epic probably the summer after. i don't suspect sourcebooks as well as online content to focus on the other tiers that heavily before that time rolls around
