| #4MalakLightfootNov 17, 2011 1:07:35 | I mean like a pixie berzerker with a great axe You can't. Pixies follow the rules for Small creatures for weapons that have been shrunk. The Great Axe is a two handed weapon, and it lacks the Small property. As such, a Small creature may not use it. By the same token, a shrunken Great Axe may not be used by a Pixie for the same reason that a Halfling, Gnome or Kobold may not use a regular sized one. |
| #5UndrhilNov 17, 2011 10:58:42 | Note though that the Lance and the Pike are both two-handed weapons with the Small keyword, so a Pixie should be able to equip those. This makes me want to make a Barbarian|Beast Master Ranger with the Raptor beast companion and a Lance. Flying charge! RAWR! |
| #6IxidorRSNov 17, 2011 15:23:19 | Note though that the Lance and the Pike are both two-handed weapons with the Small keyword, so a Pixie should be able to equip those. There's also Fey Beast Tamer with an Owlbear, which I have built. I want Beast Master Rangers to be good ... but they are not. |
| #7DragolothNov 21, 2011 11:59:41 | If you want your pixie to have a d12 weapon check out the picks. The heavy warpick is d12 high crit, the only difference between the pick and ax is feat support. The pick is better for smaller creatures, pick expertise gives a +1 dmg versus creatures larger than yourself. |
