| #1thesuzerainJun 03, 2009 0:39:00 | I noticed that a character that I created a few days ago wasn't showing up in the "Load characters" screen. When I chose "Browse" and navigated to the proper file, I received this message: XML:tag-end 'alternate' doesn't match tag-start 'D20Character' in C:\Users\Scott\Desktop\Sheif.dnd4e:1073 column 12. While I noticed this after today's (June 2, 2009) update, I don't know that it is directly related. Has anyone seen this before? I browsed the forums but couldn't find anything similar. I'd rather not rebuild the character, but if I have to I have to. All my other characters are fine. Thanks |

When I browse to them and try and open them I get a simliar message: XML:tag-end 'alternate' doesn't match tag-start 'D20Character' in C:\Users\...\ddi\Saved Characters\Makaria.dnd4e:2119 column 12. The three chracters not appearing are all arcane but other arcane ones are fine. I have rebuilt my main PC as a new file which appears fine. |

I can delete the tag block that contains the problem line and save the file. Once saved, I can open it in the character builder without the error appearing again. In my case the problem block: |
