In today’s Arcane Power preview, we introduce a new vestige for the warlock: the Vestige Pact!

Talk about this Preview here.

Sweet! I was hoping that the vestige pact would be Con-based. Looks interesting, what with your current vestige being either one of the two available at level 1 or one you bind yourself to using a daily power. I also like how each vestige gained from a daily power apparently alters both your pact boon and your pact-based at-will attack power. Though I'm a bit puzzled as to why the two vestiges that you get at level 1 (King Elidyr and Zutwa) don't have any pact boon effects listed... hopefully it was just an oversight and we'll see them fully detailed in Arcane Power.

Can't wait to see what other vestiges are going to be available. Anyone else hoping we'll run into some familiar faces from 3.5's Tome of Magic?

Totally cool pact! Definitely evokes the flavor of the 3.5 Binder. The Vestige of Xandor power in particular sounds attractive =D. Here's hoping the entirety of the book is on the level of this preview.

Hmm... the "setting building fluff" is annoying for me... Mechanically it looks interesting at least.

I'm not so happy also with the "Rage" like functionality of the Daily Vestige power as the core feature says you can only have one active vestige at a time... so if you use the Vestige of Ugar your Pact Boon becomes "move a specific Zone".

Its a pity they didn't include the actual boon effect of the two basic ones as well.
