Exporting Character Builder Save Files To Excel

Jun 10, 2010 11:46:54		Is there a way to export the *.dnd4e into an excel format. I have found as I DM that the easiest way for me to keep track of all things is on my laptop with a spread sheet. Entering each characters information is quite tedious. 

Is this something that may be addressed in a future update?
Am I just missing an obvious solution?

Jun 10, 2010 12:16:35 		You could go to the character summary on the manage tab, save it as a text file, and import it to excel as comma and colon delimited.  Also, the dnd4e file is an XML file so you could rename it with an XML extension and work with it that way.  Excel has support for XML.
