Extra(bonus) Feat - how do I give?

How do I let them select an additional feat at lvl 1 (or any lvl for that matter)?

Feb 06, 2009 15:01:32 I don't think you can. That is, I don't think you can and have any particular bonuses, etc. reflect in the character sheet. You can add in a custom element, but all you can add is the name and a short description - there are no hooks for mechanics to be integrated.

To add a custom feat, click on the little house icon in the top of the feats screen, and select add custom element.

Feb 07, 2009 8:35:00 Correction. Click the H (House Rule) button in the bottom window where it is labeled "Feat Choice Checklist" and it will give you a "User Choice" feat. As many as you want. To remove, double click the chosen feat.

Three Questions-

1) Can someone post a screen shot?

When I goto Build>Feats>Feat Choices

I can see the 'H' in the bar labeled Feat Choices, but it only gives me 3 options: "Show Illegal Element", "Create Custom Element" and "Choose for Me", none of these allow me to add bonus feats.

2) How would I set up a House Rule to allow everyone to select the bonus Race and Class feats so I could export them the rule to build their characters?

3) Not related to Feats, but is there a way to add/edit extra languages? For example, Drow in my world come with Deep Speech and Elven, not Elven and Common.

Feb 09, 2009 16:42:46 Look at the lower bar labelled "Feat Choice Checklist" where the feats you have chosen show up. There is another House Rule button on that bar. That is the one that give you extra feats.

Any idea about extra languages? Or skills for that matter?

Skills works exactly the same.

You can't add additional languages. One workaround is to just grant the Linguist feat and specify new houserule language with a blank name to use up extra language spots.
