Next month's calendar shows there will not just be an Eye on the Realms, but an Eye on Dark Sun. Now while I'm happy all those Dark Sun lovers will get what they love, where is the support for the setting that has been out almost a year? Come on Wizards. I keep trying to find a reason to renew my subscription because I want to support DDi, but I don't get any use from the magazines anymore and the tools appear to be dead in the water.

Getting things I want and need are the ways to keep me paying. One of those things is Eberron material in the magazines.

As an LFR player I'm slightly annoyed that Dark Sun is in organized play, siphoning off players.

...and as soon as I had that thought, I started thinking about you guys.  If I was an Eberron player, I'd be even more annoyed at the attention the new kid is getting.

Granted, Dark Sun looks kinda cool - and I know, WotC needs to promote their product - but it seems like Eberron hasn't gotten the love FR and DS has gotten.

All I have to say is that Season 3 of DnD Encounters better be Eberron.

In fairness to Wizards, there is an Eberron article this month. The other day there was one by James Wyatt about dragonmarks. I don't recall seeing it on the calendar before I complained, but that doesn't mean I didn't just miss it when looking. So I am appeased this month. I still firmly believe that Eberron hasn't gotten the love that a setting that is still unreleased has though.

As for DnDEnc, I wouldn't count on Eberron next session. The Creature Contest was to pick the BBEG for next session, and the Raven Queen won the competition. I'd bet the next session occurs in the default world.

Looks like it was a mistake in the calendar.  The article really is a Design & Development article on Dark Sun.   So it's unlikely that there will be anything but Eye of the Realms for that sort of article in the future.

Not sure where you get this idea.  Eberron has been part of organized play since it was released.  Sure, it may have been just a delve or a championship, but it was there.  D&DE didn't exist yet then.  I fully expect that whatever the setting of the year is is going to be the non-LFR organized play setting.  Once the new setting comes along, the new setting is goign to get the attention and the older ones not so much.
