| #1cervanteOct 17, 2010 16:51:11 | Hello, I just recently redownloaded the monster builder after wiping my harddrive and now I can't update it. Is there an older update I can get or any help with fixing this one? |
| #2Generic_FighterOct 17, 2010 22:02:06 | I have the same problem with the CB! I recently got a new Laptop and just got around to updating everything on it. I think there might be an incompatability problem with the WotC programs and the microsoft .NET 4 that was recently released. I had updated my Laptop to it and it doesn't finish the Update for the CB. The CB works and was updated fine on my parent's Tower Computer. Are you running Windows 7? That might have something to do with the problem. I'm going to try the Compatability functions now. I'll post if it fixes the problem. GF |

I solved the problem uninstalling and reinstallinf every time. I know, quite annoying ![]() |
| #4bmcfaddenOct 21, 2010 21:24:53 | I'm having an issue downloading the Monster Builder for the first time. I've tried on my PC running XP and my Windows 7 laptop. Both have the same issue where they hang on the update portion. The bar fills as though it's finished but it never completes. I've tried restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling, uninstalling and restarting then reinstalling, and so on. Nothing works. Any ideas? |
| #5rsaintjohnOct 22, 2010 2:36:59 | See the last page of this thread for some extra tips. The same issue is in CB, regardless of your OS. Some tips from folks in this thread and from Tech Support may have helped me get both CB and AT updated, but results are inconsistent. I can tell you this: be prepared to wait. Get the update started and go to bed. Hopefully in the morning, it will be finished. |
