#1 mergon Dec 08, 2009 1:18:54	I am playing a Artificer, currently level 13. I am doing some retraining since I just leveled to 13th level. What I've found is the following situation (using the Character Builder).   I've taken the Staff Fighting feat and the Dual Implement feat. According to the Character Builder, this grants me the offhand bonus granted by the Dual Implement feat while wielding a +3 Battle Staff implement.   What I want to ask is if this is legal or a bug in the Character Builder. Any page references would be appreciated since I'll have to prove this to my DM.   Many thx for any replies that come my way.
#2 arakis Dec 08, 2009 8:01:39	It's a semi-bug. The staff is a single implement, but it can be used as 2 weapons. As implement, it an have an enhancement that can be used as bonus when used as 2 hand weapon or as implement, but when used as double weapon it need a second enhancement (weapon or implement) on the other end. Yes, it's tricky because nowhere it is written that the staff is a 2 hand implement (or a double implement).
