When wielding a Flaming weapon and having the Hellfire Blood feat you dont seem to get the +1att/dam from Hellfire Blood. Auspicious Lineage. Power card still says you roll 1d6 not 1d8 as the feat allows. |
| #2ForgarnApr 29, 2009 14:28:08 | Hey (I have submittet by the official bug report).. just posting for everyone else.. That would be because the damage of a flaming weapon starts out as normal damage. When you activate the daily power or the at-will power, you then change the damage to fire and would then get the +1 from the feat. The weapon itself does not have the keyword fire so until you change the type the feat does not add. Like racial powers and class powers, magic item powers often have keywords that indicate their damage or effect types. When you use a magic item as part of a racial power or a class power, the keywords of the item’s power and the other power all apply. For instance, if a paladin uses a flaming sword to attack with a power that deals radiant damage, the power deals both fire damage and radiant damage. Which means you have to use the power (in this case activate it) for the keyword to kick in. |
