As it is right now, you can only enter in a total of XP. Meaning you have to do the math in your head. Which isn't hard, but if you mis-type 40 as 4000, you can't undo it. And if you don't remember it, then you have to reload your character. And if you made changes before adding your 40 XP, they are lost.

And all I think we need is a slot that says "add XP", so you can put a number in there, say 40, and when you accidentally type 4000 you delete it, change it to 40 and hit Enter. Or "Add XP" Put it right next to "View at Level" and one more slot above the buttons, below "Experience".

I agree with the above poster and have a related request:

As an LFR player, I'd like the XP to be automatically set to the last entered Journal entry.

That's a good idea.

I didn't want this lost in the new forums.

I would be guessing no.

But as an LFR player I'll echo the earlier comment that automatically putting your current XP total in the relevant box of a new journale entry would be great.

It would be good then if putting a value in the XP gained field resulted in a new total being calculated as well.

This would make the journal system more useful to all users as well.

No need to keep bumping this, it has been in the feature request database since before the original post.

Unfortunately there are a lot of other things and we couldn't do all of them.

Thanks for the reply, mdonais.
I'm not trying to be annoying (Ok, maybe a little) but for 6 months there hasn't been a reply to this thread. It's hard to tell if we are being listened to or not.

Why can you post the "feature request database" list so we know what ideas are being worked on?
Because if not, people are going to keep asking for feature requests until they are implemented, they are turned down, or they are told they are "in the feature request database".

I love the Character Builder. And I post because I want it to be better.
Thanks for listening and responding.
