By support, I mean the option to input your own powers that will actually appear as power cards and use the character's abilities exactly like the powers that are included with it currently do, the same for feats and skills and classes, etc. The more I run games, the less the CB remains useful to me and my players as I customise my campaign more and more. |

| #4Shadow_ElfJul 14, 2009 18:16:00 | Was just about to start a thread on this very topic when I noticed this one. When the CharBuilder says it "supports houserules", that currently is worth absolutely nothing. It allows me to input no-incorporated rules text into silly white boxes. It does not offer power card generation or mathematical calculation of house rules or "homebrew" items. This bothers me very much, because, as an avid homebrewer, I like to incorporate as much of the stuff I make into a character concept as I can. I don't think Wizards should be allowed to say that their Character Builder "supports houserules/homebrew" until that "support" actually does anything meaningful. Telling me my character is houseruled and that it has X amount of custom feats and Y custom items, none of which are calculated or have power cards generated for them, should not be considered support, at all. |

Weapons are already semi-customizable, allowing us to customize damage dice. Adding the ability customize category (hammer, flail, axe, etc), proficiency bonus, and weapon properties probably wouldn't be all that hard. |
| #7randomchanzeJul 19, 2009 14:33:13 | It is very frustrating. An example being that in a recent game a GM allowed a player to increase their History Skill bonus by +1 from spending a lot of time in a VERY good library during down time. Now he has to constantly update the char. sheet after each print. |
| #8ewancooeyJul 19, 2009 18:13:05 | I too would like to see some ability to add customization to a character. Tried to create a race, and I got a small white box that doesn't actually add anything to the character. |
| #9myt3m0w53Jul 20, 2009 15:45:09 | maybe someone will make a 3rd party utility that will pull from the CB and the Compendium to allow us to make custom stuff that is usable in a CB like program |

Can't you just change the skill bonus on the character sheet and it will add it as a misc. bonus?... |
| #11DrokareJul 28, 2009 16:30:03 | I am having an issue where Custom Languages I have in Character Builder only one will remain on the sheet when saved, it will not keep the others. |
