Did anyone check the Dragonlance pantheon in D&D Next's Player's Handbook?
Some of them are wrong, like Mishakal being Lawful Good.
Does someone knows why?
The deities have different alignments depending on the reference you use. Mishakal was NG in the Dragonlance Campaign Setting (copyright 2003, WotC) but was listed as LG in Dragonlance Adventures (copyright 1987, TSR). I do not know why the alignments vary but I imagine it has to do with designer interpretation of the deity characters. It appears the 5th Ed. alignments are more similar to the original DL Adventures sourcebook as they all, except for Majere, match up with that work.
Most of the listed alignments are identical between the two books. Here are the alignments from Dragonlance Campaign Setting (with Dragonlance Adventures differences):

Dont forget in the current Dragonlance it is said that Mishakal has tried to fill in the void of Paladines departure. In doing so she may have shifted alignments.
So has there been any word on 5e Dragonlance campagin setting coming
If there is, I hope they can get input from the authors.
