Dragonlance novel question

Sep 27, 2011 14:24:19 I couldn't find a spot for this in the regular forums. Maybe someone can answer my question here. I'm thinking about trying the Dragonlance novels. I'm particularly interested in stories about Lord Soth and to a lesser degree about the Majere brothers. I know the Majere brothers show up the in the Twins books but what books have Soth in them?

Sep 27, 2011 14:27:17 Chronicles is the first trilogy and deals with the Twins, along with the rest of the cast. Lord Soth makes an appearance as well, if I remember correctly.

The trilogy that focuses exclusively on the twins is called Legends. I remember really enjoying both Chronicles and Legends. I can't remember the name of the Lord Soth specific novel though. I'd say start with Chronicles and move through to Legends to get started. They are connected pretty closely.

Knight of the Black Rose
Spectre of the Black Rose

Does raist appear in Dammar the dark?, And does anyone remeber which book it was that Palin Majere was given raist's staff? And the possible illegitimate child of ras and the irda? On top of all of what everone else said.

Mystic Pizza, the stories you are thinking of are from the first three Tales anthologies (The Magic of Krynn; Kender, Gully Dwarves, and Gnomes; Love and War) and were collected together, along with a couple more stories, in the Second Generation anthology, which served as a prelude to Dragons of Summer Flame (in which Raistlin also makes an appearance).
