That is my question for WOTC. If you have a good reason, perhaps you should give it. Why cancel a series of books that regularily reach the bestsellers lists and the Dragons Of The Highlord Skies is even nominated for an award. Dragons of The Highlord Skies even reached the NY Times Bestsellers List.
Why won't you even speak to Margaret and Tracy? They deserve and have a right to a reason for this.
Why are you insulting Tracy and Margaret and the fans by doing this. Why are you stopping the publication of a Book you promised us? Dragonlance has been one of your best selling properties.
No Dragonlance mentioned in your possible list of upcoming Campaign Settings and only what, one more book? Why are you cutting out your profits? Why cancel the Dragonlance Licence? Your recent moves regarding this product leaves a lot to be questioned.
Have you completely cancelled the Dragonlance Property?
Also, no list of GenCon list of events, even if it won't happen. At least plan on it.
Here is your chance to come clean with the fans of a setting 20+ years old and have supported you up until now.

It wouldn't make good business sense to associate with a company that is having legal problems with another company you are in bed with.
Unless you want said company to make money so that it would pay you back.

Not even Margaret and Tracy know. That is the problem. All WOTC said was, Don't send anything to us because we won't read it. We're not publishing this book. This is according to Tracy in the last Dragonlance Canticle Podcast.
I have read that thread. It is still too bad no one seems to know anything. That is why I started this thread over here on the WOTC site. Maybe someone who is involved here just might see it and actually respond.
WotC has already responded and its representatives can't say anything more until the situation has been fully dealt with. Until what's happening behind the scenes is made public, the best thing to do is just sit tight and hope for the best.

Quite possibly related to the whole issue of no sales for ..what..6-7 months (?), while paychecks, rents etc have been running...
At the same time as consumerspending is going downhill all over the states, anything not related to food and fuel anyway. All the while money is getting ever scarcer (intrest will rise, big time, has to..), as workers demand raises to cover the ever costler food and fuel... and there still arent any sales.
They just cannot afford it, or think they cannot.
Just what are you referring to? Dragonlance specifically? Dragonlance Novels are still being sold. If you are talking WOTC specifically, lots of stuff has come out in the past 6 months. Dragonlance stuff too.

No new products since half a year ago
There were a few RPG related books that came out the end of last year and beginning of this one. Also, aren't The Anvil Of Time books part of Dragonlance? The Sellsword (written by Cam Banks) just came out last month did it not? Or am I mistaken?
Yeah, there've been products released. They've released books like the two 4e previews. They've released a couple sets of minis. Novels have hit the shelves. (Didn't the last Mina book release this week?)
That's not including all the other products WotC produces, away from D&D. Somehow I doubt they're not making money.
That said, I still want this book. We've been waiting years, literally, for it. Come on WotC, let W&H finish it!
