| #1aesiusMay 03, 2008 15:44:45 | Well, unaware of DL Nexus reading list, I started reading the DL novels using the 'Novel Guide' provided by wizards.com. So I've already read the 'holy six', Second Generation and Dragons of Summer Flame. I'm currently reading the War of Souls trilogy (just finished Dragons of a Fallen Sun). Now I noticed that in accordance with DL Nexus I should have read Dragons of a New Age and the Dhamon Saga before War of Souls. So my question is: have I already read all the spoilers contained in those two trilogies? Should I continue on reading War of Souls or stop reading it and start Dragons of a New Age? What you guys recommend? |

I've read a lot of others (Meetings Sextet, both Preludes trilogies) and they were all right, but I wouldn't read them again like I did with Chronicles and Legends and so on. Even Weis by herself can weave an incredible story. When you have time, pick up The Soulforge and Brothers in Arms, and the Dark Disciple trilogy (Amber and Blood out this month!). All very good. And of course, don't forget Lost Chronicles, refilling the holes from the 80's! |

I'll finish WoS then start the Dark Disciple trilogy (I guess I'll be up to date with the RPG books, even though I don't have a prospect of playing a DL Campaign). Afterwards I'll go back in time and pick up Lost Chronicles, The Soulforge/Brothers in Arms and just then Dragons of a New Age/Dhamon trilogies (in order to read all 'core novels'). This should be a good sequel... |

It's better to read the holy six and the others first, otherwise you see those things coming far in advance. ;) |
