| #1boarstormMay 15, 2008 1:26:18 | Once 4E is released, I'm thinking of running an Age of Mortals campaign set after the Dark Disciple trilogy, but I've stumbled across a bit of a problem for me on an aesthetic level. I refuse to have a goddess named Mina in any pantheon I run. I mean, it just opens the door to so many jokes. What's next? Nuitari and Hiddekul's love child, Jeffy? Bleh! Dieties should have vaguely hard to pronounce names whose utterance makes you feel like just maybe you should be looking over your shoulder for the candy man. Takhisis. Chemosh. Mishakal. These are names ascribed to the unknowable. Mina? Not so much. I know, I know, I can rename her or ignore her entirely, and I no longer have a problem... but this board is so lonely I thought I'd throw SOMETHING out there to be discussed. |
