Personally, I'm iffy with $40 for a system designed for another system. (In this case, the rule books says you can play with 1, however it isn't much of a game, they expect you to go buy more, and for $40 a system, thats more then the boardgames!) $65 - Boardgame with 40~ Unpainted Plastic Minis, fits 1-5 people. $40 - Half a Boardgame with 12 Painted Plastic Mini, fits 1-2 people. I get that there are "rare" minis, and that the price is high to keep them up (See the Dragonlith in the Undead expandsion coming out soon) however while I did enjoy the game, paying $40 for a paperbox (Actually, if it was cardboard, I don't think I would be as unhappy) with 12 minis and an imcomplete system left a bad taste in my mouth. |

I started playing D&D at 3rd Ed and the players handbook was 20, then it became 27 3.5 and 35 4th. Based on that the price can go to 70 after some time. The game is too expensive and this is commin from not me but other people who own 90+ % of DDM |
