Dungeon Command could use the Wheaton effect

Wil Wheaton's Tabletop youtube channel recently featured Betrayal of House on the Hill, an Avalon Hill game that, two years ago was maligned as the wrong way to do a reprint of a grail game. The game was not doing that well but after Wheaton's review, it became out of stock everywhere and even the second edition (previously clearanced by online game stores) was commanding prices of $150+ on ebay. Now AH wil reprint it. Imagine what the Wheaton effect could do for Dungeon Command. We might get more factions developed. The game is good enough to deserve a Tabletop feature rather than a slow demise. All we need is for WOTC (which has the same parent company) to give some promo copies of DC to Wheaton and get him hooked. This would be a great game for Tabletop to feature.

I'd be all for it!  At this point almost anything would be a welcome step forward.  The thing is, I own a whole bunch of DnD minis and I'm ready to just start designing my own minis.  But that's going off-topic, so I'll start a new thread.

But yes, somebody please get a copy of the game to Mr. Wheaton!

Agreed, I love this game. I've only played it a handful of times, but would love to get into more.

Also the game would have a huge increase in players if they learned about it from TableTop

I'm not sure how TT picks their games, but it oculdn't hurt.

Here's the Tabletop contact info:

Here's a list of the games voted for in that thread: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AhN55xNe6PlhdHJxTzNTUXg4aEQ4N2ZKYkM2SFFJVEE#gid=0

Dungeon Command only has one vote. Not sure if they've been picking from that list at all though.
