In Dungeon Command, when using an ability like Confusing Gaze or an order card like Web, do you need to have line of sight to the target? It doesn't make sense to employ them through a wall or around a corner, but the rules only address LOS in ranged combat. Do these count as a ranged attack? Or am I missing something in the rules (with me, that's always a possibility)?

Its in the rules that they need LoS. It's in a text box thing. Every ability needs LoS to the target unless stated otherwise. And no, ranged attacks will be called ranged attacks.

The only one that's maybe a big ambiguous to me is "Fire Trap", which is states "choose a hazardous terrain square" with no range statement. I don't think it should need LOS, but currently it should use it because it doesn't say otherwise.
