Assuming a) I have time and b) a WOTC DC expert is present, I plan to try to get a bunch of rules clarifications at the tournament on Sunday.  As such, I'd love some help compiling a list.  I definitely plan to ask about:

-How exactly does Death Strike work
-How exactly does Call to Battle work
-How exactly does Mage Armor work (do you have to tap the creature to use it or not?)
-Are we correct that dungeon vs. outdoors is the determining factor in whether you can cut corners?
-What exact rules should be used in tournaments regarding picking above/belowground and tile layout?
-Cloud of Bats: When does the move happen (eg interaction with Magic Short Sword).

I'll edit to update this list as people suggest good ones.

I'd be glad to ask for clarifications too, but I probably won't ask for clarifications about things that I think are pretty clear from the rules (except ones that seem really weird like the cutting corners one).  Obviously I don't want to just ambush some poor person with 2 hours worth of stuff, and likely won't have time to do that regardless.  But I want to make sure we at least clear up the actual unclear stuff, if nothing else.

The one big question we have is Cloud of Bats:

Due to the layout of the wording on CoB it suggests that the prevention and thus the damage, goes off before the move. Against an unpreventable attack (Magic Short Sword / Piercing Strike) do they still take the damage or does the move trigger first so they are not there?

If the move triggers first, what is the point of having the damage prevention on there since the creature will move away?

I think you've got all of my major questions already covered except for the most important one:

Will there be any new sets and if so, what and when?

I suspect however, that this will be the one question they won't answer Tongue Out  I think it's important, however, that the developers realize there's a demand for new sets and a lot of question marks over WotC support for this great game. If they could throw us a bone about the future, anything at all, it might end a lot of harmful speculation.

Good luck in the tournament!

Ooh good point, I knew I was forgetting at least one!  This one is high on my list too.

Yeah I'll probably ask about sets in passing but I'm not expecting much.  The PAX tournament apparently has space for around 32, so hopefully we'll get there or close and that'll get their attention.  Who knows.  We sold some in our booth yesterday though!  Several of us are big fans and were talking it up, heh.

PAX is over and I'm exhausted.  The judge didn't know all the detailed questions off the top of his head but he took them over email and said he'd ask the designers.  I'll update as warranted.  Also tournament report coming later when I am more lucid.  Sadly the event was quite small

I was wondering if there was ever a response to the questions asked. Did the judge ever return your email? Have we heard anything from the designers?

Sadly not, I will perhaps prod him again.
