| #1LordValinarJul 09, 2015 7:52:32 | Hello everybody, I'm currently doing a DC tourney (by myself I know... I'm sad... :P ) and I've run into an issue that I need clarification on before I post the next video.
On the Hobgoblin Sorcerer it says while he's on a magic rune all Goblins, Hobgoblins, and Bugbears you control can (tap) to prevent 10 damage to that creature from 1 source.
TOUGH AS NAILS (Order Card) - Immediate says:
"Remove all cards attached to this creature.
Attach this card to this creature."
:: This creature gains Block 10 (Prevent 10 damage whenever a source deals damage to this creature).
Now...... my question(s) is/are:
- Since Immediate cards tap the creature they're played on/with, does that mean the (tap) effect from the Hobgoblin Sorcerer cannot be played in the same turn (thus effectively blocking 20 damage?)
- Does that Block 10 always apply (preventing 10 damage) afterwards, or does it have to keep being tapped to utilize the Block 10 ability
- Finally, If the above question is "Yes you must tap to use Block 10", then does tapping the creature while the Sorcerer is on a rune, still stack the 2 damage preventative measures?
I would really appreciate the answer to this I couldn't find any specific information about the Order Card abilities :\

I'm assuming that Block 10 is a passive effect (as the dwarven defenders seem to give Block 10 to adjacent creatures as well) so only the initial attaching of the immediate card to the creature taps it, thus unable to use the goblin sorcerer's ability on THAT same turn.... but subsequent turns I'm guessing the passive Block 10 can stack if the creature is tapped to also utilize the goblin sorcerer's ability thus effecitviely blocking 20 damage when applicable...
If I'm wrong well... no one spoke up to tell me otherwise :p
